corner view "anything goes" or as I like to say, "randomness" :)

Earlier this month, I decided to do some art. I'm not very good at drawing, I'll admit. So sometimes I go on Photoshop, take a picture and trace over the picture section by section, color by color. Let me tell you, it's very time consuming. There is a name for this kind of art work, but I can't remember the name. Something that starts with a "T". Anyway, since I'm really into Robin Williams at the moment and I was frustrated at my many attempts to draw him on paper (they didn't turn out well) I decided to turn to my trusty computer. :)

It took me a while, but it was worth it. What do you think?

Fun with Photoshop

Some of my recent creations. The first one of Shawn I just did a couple of minutes ago.

Valentine's Day

I don't know if you all have Valentine's Day in Europe or other places you live, but just in case you don't, Valentine's Day was a day created by Saint Valentine about love and friendship. So for all of the people who read my blog, here's a Valentine Card for all of you! (I made it on Photoshop. I think I'm obsessed.) :)

Happy Birthday Annabel

You are special, a gift to the world,
singing to the wind, the trees, the sky.
Making peace with pain and sorrow,
accepting life like just a snowy day.
Coming and going like a pearly-white moon,
making your appearance to this world magnificent.
Making your way though life as a humble dot of life,
but you are a living joy, constant peace, a golden star.

Happy birthday Annabel, another beautiful year being around you! Hope you like the poem. I'm no Dr. Seuss, but I tried. :) You're now eleven! Welcome to the "lovely" world of preteens!

corner view "re-purposed"

I guess one of the things I've created out of something else is a mobile from Lincoln Logs. I don't know if they have them in places other than America but they are these logs with crevices on the ends. The crevices make them easier to stay where they're put.

Anyway, about a couple of years ago, when I was eight, I wanted to make a nice gift for my brother, Shawn's, fourth birthday. So, I took some Lincoln Logs and some nails and I went to my workbench and I came inside with this... a Lincoln Log airplane mobile.

Shawn really liked it for a while and then one summer we had to pack it away. We just dug it up a couple of days ago and just in time for corner view!

For more corner views visit Jane or Francesca (who made up the idea of re-purposed).

P.S. I got Photoshop for Christmas and I'm making my new CD cover. I have two and like them both.

 A
B

Feedback? Which one do you like better: A or B? It's called Next Color.
To hear my other CD's go here.

P.P.S My younger sister Annabel took the pictures of me. She's only ELEVEN!
