Miss Lisa

As I told you earlier, Miss Lisa is our homeschooling teacher. She's so fun and cool. Yesterday, Shawn and Annabel went to a one-day-a-week school program and I had the whole day to myself with Miss Lisa.

First we did computer lab and I showed her my blog. She saw my photos and sent me one of her. Then, we did some math and history. I did some music and blogging later in the day.

I really missed Annabel and Shawn but the day was so cool, I forgot. Until Miss Lisa had to leave. :(

Miss Lisa also does videos and she's going to teach us how to use a video camera! She's done documentaries. All of the kids get to do some videos about how to behave and how not to behave. Annabel and I are making storyboards and are going to try to make them funny. Maybe I can post some here, on my blog, when we're done!

13th B-day

People, I just turned thirteen on August 19th and I wasn't quite sure how I'd feel. I was worried I'd become all rude like snobby teenagers in the movies. But, I'm still Sky. (I'm not quite sure that's a good thing).

Anyway, my lovely sister (Annabel) is constantly reminding me that I'm now a teen. Oh the joy. Well she's pretty much perfect so she has to get on my nerves sometimes. Otherwise she wouldn't be normal. :)

But I still act pretty young like I play with my purple sheep Lavender.

Homeschooling September 2009

This year, we've got a great teacher. Miss Elaine had to move away so we got someone new named, Miss Lisa.

Shawn's homeschooling too and we all have the same teacher. She teaches Shawn from 8:30 to 10:30 and Annabel and me 10:30 to 2:00.

Europe (Finally)

Sorry I haven't written in a while but I've been busy. As I've been saying, we went to Europe!
It was the coolest thing ever!!!!!!! We first went to Paris and it was a big city. We weren't used to it so there was a lot of, "Mom, we have to help the beggar!" and, "But it's so cool, we have to buy it!!!"

There was also the best food. We went to restaurants and all of them were surprisingly cheap. JOY! We also go dessert every night and became gluttons. JOY! Wait, that's not right.

Annabel also made a joke: There was a little kid who loved food and he says to his mother,

"Mom! I know what I'm gonna be when I grow up!"

"What, honey?"

"A glutton!"

Anyway, we also went to the tippy top of the Eiffel Tower and I was freaked out. (I'm scared of heights). Annabel's not usually scared of heights but she was scared of this one.
