Road Trip

In the last couple weeks we've been on summer vacation. First we went to San Ramon to see Amma and some friends. Then we went to Lake Tahoe.

I was really excited to go and hike, but I got sick with a horrible cough and sore throat. It was bad. I'm still blowing my nose. I was sick the entire four days we were there. On the last day, the day we were leaving, the antibiotics kicked in and I was much better for the four hour road trip to Marin.

In Marin, we saw my old friend Naomi. We've known each other since babyhood.

We also had a reunion of my baby group. Most of the kids I hadn't seen since I was 4 or 5.

Yesterday, we went on a hike at Phoenix Lake.

This was a cute little house by the lake. It looked like something out of the Little House on the Prairie.

This was my favorite picture. It's ragweed. I thought it was pretty. Dad was allergic. :)

My Daddy

I think I have the best dad in the entire world. He always cheers me up because he's funny.
He always makes me feel better because he's kind.
He always teaches me stuff because he's smart.
He's always on my side. He always sticks up for me.
I love him more than anyone in the world. I wouldn't be me without him.

My Beautiful Sister Annabel

Annabel is 13. She's my little sister. She's amazing.
She went to a dance yesterday and got all dressed up and she looked so pretty.
