corner view "autumn"

Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.  ~Albert Camus

Where I am, we don't have seasons. It's summer all the time! :) So I take advantage of it when I can when we travel in autumn, which is rare.

I've always imagined sitting in front of a fire on a chilly autumn night. But if we sat in front of a fire here? Yuck!

My best autumn memory was in California, one November. My mom came out with my little sister and me and we jumped in piles of leaves for hours. :)

For more autumn (real autumn) go to the side bar on my mom, Theresa's Blog.

Must be strange not to know all the great autumn colors!! I can image that you take your change to see it! And I can image to take my change to have it warm ;-)

I like autumn, but (don't repeat that) I prefer summer.
I like Camus as well... So, like a lot of thoughts, autumn is in our mind...
Nice post

Although I often miss summer in winter or spring in autumn, it's hard for me to imagine living in an endless summer without any seasons...christmas in summer?! No way!! ;o)

Sweet memories. Maybe someday you will live somewhere where they have fall.

From your history teacher: Do you know what Albert Camus' name means translated from the French?

"I'll bet a cow moos."

And he won the bet!

(Or maybe that's translated from Pig Latin. Or Cow Latin. Not sure.)

well done with that quote. perfect.

you will one day soon experience autumn elsewhere again. you will see... and love it.

it's so funny the grass is always greener on the other side. many of us in grey and wet areas right now wouldn't mind swapping places with you :)
