To children, the world is big and wonderful. There are so many new sights to see, people to meet and things to try. Everything is an adventure.
To most adults, the world can be a pain most of the time. Work, rushing around, errands, driving everywhere. They lose the childlike innocence. They've seen most of the things children get so excited about like the ocean or a mountain or bubbles floating in the air, but to an adult, these things are nothing special. But you can always, no matter what age, see beauty in everything and keep that childlike innocence forever.

you're too right.
and all we need is a little time.
time we make ourselves, by the way.
;)
I am 37, so that makes me an adult. But I feel like a child most of the time...
so...let's stay a child from inside and keep wondering about the world around us!!
Yep! I remember my childhood like it was yesterday....although it's been a whole lot of yesterdays by now! ^_^ I loved walking, running, and dancing in the rain; long walks in the woods; playing tag outside with myriads of places to hide; good food; and good friends...I'm still a kid at heart. That's always my perspective. :-)
So true and beautiful. I think I try to keep the child-like innocence every minute...
A wonderful perspective and so true. We all need to hang onto the child within us.
so true, skylar. i live every day like it's my first on earth, and by default, i'm never serious! i am only 20, but never plan on leaving that hold the earth has on me, those simple pleasures that remind us how beautiful things are. keep on with your great attitude and wonderful blog. peace!
