Summer Update :)

Ok, so for the 4th of July, we got to drive up to Mill Valley which is where my parents first met and went on their first date. We stayed at a cool little inn called the Mountain Home Inn and met an awesome waiter guy named Richard. He knew about the Sundays and Mike Doughty and all these unique music artists that no one seemed to know about.

We also went on this hike and saw the hugest redwoods! 

Then we drove about 4 hours up to Yosemite!

Summer!! California :)

About a week and a half ago, we had to leave and go on our summer trip. So I said goodbye to my friends and off we went...

So now here we are in California! The first week we were in LA. Little smoggy, little crowded... You can actually see a line of smog over the city.

Then we headed over to Marin, where I was born. Seeing some old friends, so many memories!

And today was Father's Day, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DADDY!! I LOVE YOU!! :D

Friends

Two weeks off. You can not imagine all the kids dragging themselves around the classrooms trying to bear the last couple days before break. I don't know if it's just me, but those last couple days seem to drag on and on and on...

It's been a good break. Lots of time with friends. :) Beach, pool, trampoline, gooood times. :D

Let me tell you a little bit about my friends...

My friends are all unique... 

And very funny :)

I'm usually the small child you'll find in a tree

Or just hanging somewhere...

They love swimming

And occasionally doing hair...

They finally got me in a dress... and fancy shoes

(don't know how they did that)

But there's lots of love...

They're so awesome :)

Three of my high school friends came to my little sister's 14th birthday. 

They made it very exciting ;)

And made her very happy.

That is one of the many reasons I have the most awesome friends ;)
